With the acquisition of its long term distribution partner in South Africa on 1st November 2011, the PERI Group has expanded its worldwide business activities. The acquired company started working with PERI in 2000 as an exclusive dealer of PERI formwork and scaffolding systems in the region. Today, it is one of the market leaders in South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana and Namibia.

In very close collaboration with PERI, the company has continuously grown over the past decade and has at present around 540 employees. Today, 15 branch offices and logistics centers as well as local production of special formwork are driving forward business activities. The workforce is very familiar with the product portfolio of the PERI Group whilst the regular transfer of engineering and sales know-how will ensure problem-free and rapid integration into the corporate group.

With the acquisition of one of the largest sales and logistics networks for formwork and scaffolding technology in Southern Africa, PERI has become the most important international player in formwork and scaffolding in the region. Through this takeover, the PERI Group is following its strategy of expanding business activities in emerging markets.
