PERI know-how and ideal equipment for safe and fast construction
The 490 m long and 30.80 m wide suspension bridge connects the eastern Praski shore with the western Warsaw shore. The 87.00 m high pylon is a remarkable eye-catching feature of this four-lane bridge.
The two pylon legs, inclined at 78°, meet at a height of 60.00 m and join into a 27.0 m high vertical shaft.
PERI supplied an ideal formwork concept. It led to a fast and economical completion. Thanks to the ACS self-climbing techniques it was possible for the site to climb in a four-day cycle without a crane.
Together with WARBUD, the PERI engineers divided the pylon into 21 concreting sections: 15 in the legs and 6 in the shaft.
